Guzman Y Gomez – Heaven for gluten free chicas and chicos!
A friend told me about this place last week and I have been back twice, it’s my new obsession. What could be more welcoming than a menu that says “we can make every item gluten free” The first time I had veggie Nachos… check em out… yeah baby… Fresh guacamole, cheese, delicious black beans, mushrooms, capsicums and fresh tomatoes. And my favourite Tabasco sauce – smoked!
Awhile back I wrote a post about Chipotle in America and how much I loved it there for it’s tasty gluten free options. Well you can imagine my excitement to see that Guzman Y Gomez are doing something just as delicious here in Brisbane at Emporium in Fortitude Valley.
Last night I tried the soft tacos… wowee so delicious. Only wish I’d bought three not two.
Hola chicas and chicos you need to try it. Gluten free, dairy free, fairly healthy I’m guessing and it’s freakin’ delicious! 
Love the Mexican music they play too. Arriba!

Be careful with Guzman Gomez and thinking it is gluten free. I went to the emporium today and asked which items were gluten free and I was kindly told that the sign was wrong and that the corn chips and the taccos were not gluten free. I told the girl that the sign said gluten free and that I was told previously that the tacos were gluten free. She told me that she knew that it was confusing but ‘the tacos’ are not gluten free. The only explanation I have, is that they are trying to save money and are getting or making stock else were and now they are not using gluten free ingredients.
I am very dissapointed. So please ask and re-comfirm when you order, is the food gluten free bc there seems to be some changes to how they are cooking thier food. If it was temporary, I would have expected to have been told this. NOT GLUTEN FREE.
